The school has a number of sports activities, among which you will find several team sports, for both boys and for girls. Each of these is meant to promote cooperation, interdependence, confidence, and pride in achieving goals. In sports such as basketball, soccer and volleyball, the program includes both intramural competitions and competitions among schools. During the week, sports practices are scheduled from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Students need to complete and deposit a permission blank with the activity coordinator for the selected sport team.
The academic program is to provide additional support and / or enrichment for the learning of Spanish, Math, and Language Art in English. It also provides student services for writing, research, UN Model preparation, SAT preparation and Dominican National Exams preparation. These classes are given in Building E second floor and Computer Lab A. See student’s daily schedule for room schedule.
All students are also given the opportunity of belonging to a club, once they meet the requirements for admissions established by each club. The clubs may meet from 2:25 to 3:30 p.m. or during recess, as established by each club’s coordinator and the members of said club. In order to belong to a club, a student must obtain his parents’ or legal guardian’s permission. The clubs may vary from one year to another, depending on the students’ interests and the availability of the teaching staff sponsorships. Clubs available are newspaper club, drama club, leadership, elementary library club and UN Model club.
