Divisions

ICDA is comprised of five divisions which are under the general supervision of the Executive Board, as follows:

Academic Board of Directors

The main role of the Academic Board of Directors is to plan, supervise and oversee the development of the plans and educational programs, coordinating actions with the academic departments that tend to bring about the success of established objectives.

Currently, the Academic Board of Directors has one Director and the following positions report back to the Board:

  • Language School Principal
  • Elementary/High School Principal, for purposes of coordinating with the other departments of ICDA
  • Preschool Principal
  • Library Director
  • Administrative Coordination of Extension Schools
  • Coordination of the Registrar’s Office
  • Coordination of the Evaluations Department
  • Coordination of the Educational Counseling Office

Cultural

The Cultural division is in charge of planning, coordinating and executing all of the cultural activities held to strengthen the institutional image through a variety of cultural events, support professional and young artistic talents and promote interaction between the community of North American residents in the country and the ICDA community and the general public.

The organizational structure of the Cultural Department is currently comprised of eight positions:

  • Cultural Director
  • Performing Arts School Director
  • Performing Arts School Professor
  • Choir Director
  • Secretary of the Cultural Department
  • Head Audio Technician
  • Head Lighting Technician
  • Stagehand 

Finance

The Finance Division, headed by a Director, plans, supervises and oversees the execution of the system and financial strategies by means of the implementation of administrative, technical and financial processes that guarantee adequate controls for resource management and that facilitate the acquisition of precise data that permit ICDA to make favorable and profitable decisions.

The organizational structure of the Finance Division is comprised of departments that are responsible for the IT and Communication Systems at ICDA, as well as financial operations, accounting, collections and the General Bursar’s Office.

The departments that currently comprise the Financial Division are:

  • IT (Information Technology)
  • Accounting
  • Collections
  • General Bursar’s Office

Administrative Services

The Division of Administrative Services at ICDA is a technical-operational area which aims to offer services for the optimization of resources and the best operations of the facilities at ICDA.

This division is headed by a Director and is comprised of the following departments:

  • Purchasing
  • Maintenance
  • Concierge
  • Security
  • Mail Room
  • Bookstore
  • Warehouse
  • Nurse’s Office
  • Customer Service 

Human Resources

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Human Resources Department plans, coordinates and oversees the execution of administrative processes and recruitment of human resources to ICDA, implementing strategies, norms and procedures that contribute to ICDA’s culture of motivation and harmony so that optimal levels of performance are achieved.

The organizational structure of the Human Resources Division is currently comprised of seven positions.

The positions that comprise the Human Resources Division are:

  • Human Resources Director
  • Payroll Manager
  • Payroll Assistant
  • Recruitment and Selection Manager
  • Benefits and Services Assistant
  • Records Keeper for Personnel
  • Secretary
