The Language School (“EDI” by its initials in Spanish) is the division of the bi-national center Instituto Cultural Domínico-Americano dedicated to the teaching of the languages and cultures of the  Dominican Republic  and the United States of America.



Spanish as a Foreign Language

Regular Courses

Our Spanish as a Foreign Language program consists of 5 levels, with a duration of three months each, distributed as follows: 
 

• Basic I and II—Upon completion of these two modules, students are able to talk about personal, domestic and public matters, relationships, leisure activities, and other topics.
 

• Intermediate I and II—At the end of these two levels, students can talk about various types of Latin American celebrations and customs, behavior, social rules, etc.
 

• Advanced—Upon completing this level, students can talk about current events, important facts in people’s lives, ecology, business, communication, living conditions, etc.

 

Class Schedules:
 

Monday through Thursday, from: 3:00  to 5:00 PM
Monday through Thursday, from:    6:00  to 8:00 PM
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from: 9:00 AM to 12:00 N
