The staff of the Lincoln Library are oriented to service. It is made up of:
The director
Nélida Cairo Zabala has been a director since 1994. She obtained her master’s degree in Library Sciences and in Information Sciences at the Catholic University in Washington, D.C. In 2006, she got a scholarship to take a training program at the Mortensen Center for International Library Programs of the University of Illinois in the cities of Urbana-Champaign. She regularly attends conferences and professional updating activities both in the country and abroad. In addition to working as a professional librarian, she has been a professor of the Faculty of Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo Autonomous University) since 1979, where she has reached the rank of associate professor. She is a member of the American Library Association.

Amarilis Beltré Méndez
She is in charge of Public Services.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and has worked at the Lincoln Library since 2003. She is also a teacher of Computer Science at the intermediate level.
