Celebrating partnerships that boost the future! 🤝✨

Wednesday, August 30 marked a significant milestone for UNICDA, as we signed an agreement with the Santo Domingo Hotel Association (AHSD). Our goal: to strengthen the skills and competencies of our students in tourism and hospitality careers.

This alliance will open the doors to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in key areas such as teaching, research, languages and culture. In addition, our students will have the opportunity to do internships and university social service.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ramón Sosa, Rector of UNICDA, and Mrs. Yudit García, President of the Santo Domingo Hotel Association.

Representing UNICDA were Dr. Laura Reyes, Vice Rector of Academics, Karina Taveras from Social Outreach and Extension and Alejandra Brunet, Coordinator of the Tourism and Hotel Business Administration program. On behalf of the AHSD, the members of its Board of Directors were present: Fabeth Martinez, Luigi Di Ciaccio, Gabriela Diaz, Silvanh Rield, Carme Ortiz, Cesar Oliva, Jose Quiroz, Roberto Henriquez, Hector Bourdier, Jenny Rosa and Ronaldy Aybar, along with Leandro Tajes.
