The Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano consolidates its educational leadership in English language teaching with the formalization of a strategic collaboration agreement with National Geographic Learning.

Faithful to its tradition of staying at the forefront in offering educational services with high quality standards, and reaffirming its position in the English language teaching market, last April 30, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano formalized a strategic collaboration agreement with National Geographic Learning, part of Cengage Learning, which will allow its students to acquire inspiring educational experiences, with the introduction of real situations and exciting content, based on more than one hundred and thirty years of scientific research.

Since 1947, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano has stimulated education and culture through a broad program of cultural relations and teaching at various levels of education. The connection it has established with Dominican society undoubtedly constitutes the foundation of its actions in the fields of education, culture, research and academic counseling.

Currently, it has established itself as an integrated educational and cultural community, recognized as one of the best in the country, due to the international quality of its academic programs, the competencies of its human talent and the success achieved by its graduates.

Through National Geographic Learning programs, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano seeks for its English students to experience the joy and happiness of learning, that National Geographic explorers, scientists, writers and photographers experience every day, sharing real stories that allow them to expand their knowledge about the world and all that surrounds it.

It is worth noting that this collaboration agreement will not only allow the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano to use quality and solid educational materials, but also to receive annual visits from Explorers to give lectures, as well as photographic exhibitions of National Geographic’s visual heritage. In addition, the teachers of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano will begin a process of ongoing and scheduled training by academic experts from National Geographic Learning.

The ceremony of formalization of the strategic collaboration was accompanied by several activities such as two conferences given by Jenny Gil, National Geographic Explorer, and the exhibition of photographs, National Geographic Learning Gallery 2019.

With this in mind, the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano and National Geographic Learning will make learning English in the Dominican Republic more exciting, inspiring and transformational every day.
