Services

The Lincoln Library offers a comfortable reading room with vibrant, modern furnishings that encourage interaction. It provides the following services:

  • Book lending.

  • Personalized user assistance and guidance.

  • Internet and Wi-Fi access.

  • Information Literacy Program (ALFIN): Through workshops, users are instructed on how to access and use subscribed and open-access electronic information resources.

  • Two (2) study rooms with a capacity for eight (8) people each; one of them equipped with a Smart TV.

  • Sale of donated or deaccessioned books from the collections at affordable prices.

  • General Collection: The collection of technical documents related to the academic programs offered by the Dominican-American University is located in the main hall of the Lincoln Library. It specializes in the following areas: computer science and information technology; education, including methodological texts for English language teaching; English for teaching purposes; tourism, hospitality, and restaurant management, gastronomy; business, finance, marketing, and business administration; and literature, including universal, American, Dominican, and Latin American works. It also includes American and Dominican history, among others.
