The Language School of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano recently celebrated the graduation of more than 300 graduates of its English programs for Juniors, Adults, and the Spanish as a Foreign Language Program in several ceremonies held at the Patrick N. Hughson Auditorium.

ICDA Board members Lucy Threan de Lamarche and Leonardo Santoni, along with Ramon Sosa, Executive Director, gave the opening remarks at these ceremonies. Language School professors Johanny Gonzáles, Ian Pacheco, Ámbar Andújar and Juan Francisco de la Rosa were in charge of the congratulatory speeches.

Students from the Junior and Adult Programs, Aylin Familia, Diego Lira, Lesli Méndez, Katherine Hernández, Mederlyn Frías, Crislenia Machuca, Ikem Oguagua, Ricardo Cuello and Charina Gesualdo represented the graduating class of their respective programs with various speeches in 4 ceremonies.

The artistic presentations at the closing of each of the ceremonies were in charge of the Dominican American Mixed Choir and the Julio Alberto Hernandez Male Choir directed by Viterbo Nuñez and Henry Cordero, respectively.

The director of the Language School, Grisel Del Rosario, offered the oath of the graduates and the closing words of the ceremony.

In the months of May and November, the Language School of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano, graduates hundreds of students who enter the labor and academic market with the skills required to communicate in the English language.

Since its foundation more than 72 years ago, the ICDA has been an innovative institution, maintaining its leadership in the English language teaching market, establishing high quality educational and cultural standards.
