The University of Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano launched the “Teacher Development Center”, in a ceremony attended by authorities of the institution, representatives of the education sector, teachers and the community in general.

As leaders in the teaching of English in our country, the institution is committed to prepare English teachers through a broad portfolio of programs at the undergraduate, graduate and continuing education levels. Under this premise, the “Teacher Development Center” was created as an educational unit specialized in the development of teachers with the skills of the 21st century.

Its mission is to train teachers, educational managers of the Dominican Republic and the region through innovative and specialized programs that allow the mastery of the skills required to achieve an effective teaching-learning process.

The academic offerings of the Teacher Development Center include courses, workshops, diploma courses and consulting services in educational institutions, with the objective of providing access to continuous professional development and certification opportunities for English teachers.
