Recently, National Geographic Learning, in collaboration with the Teacher Development Center (TDC) of our institution, held its conference “New Frameworks for Innovation in Education”, in which expert panelists in the educational field shared their knowledge of educational leadership with English as a Second Language teachers and program coordinators.
The main speaker at the conference was Jair Félix, Senior Academic Consultant at National Geographic Learning, who was in charge of the plenary session of the event, as well as the topic “Teaching the Whole Student”.
The event also featured the participation of Anabel Camacho, TDC Senior Coach, who gave a presentation on the role and sustainable development of coaching as a tool for teacher accompaniment, while Sabrina Acosta, Fellow TDC, spoke about the benefits and challenges of shared leadership. Similarly, the Director of the Language School of the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano, Robert Valcin, presented a talk on program management and in-service teacher training.
